My new creations- a kitsune dragon baby, he is from a distant land. Where baby fox dragons are born moving, in muddy spots in their sandy land. He is nameless so far awful cute but not much of a talker. :) and the second she is a lil tye dye pink bumble bee with a lovey tyedye blankie :) she will be in a gift bag going to my cousin and her lil miracle baby. These are both my own patterns and will be posting these patterns on ravelry as soon as they're double checked.
made this for my nieces cmas... working on another gift for my cousin and a pattern to sell. also working on a animal pattern post pics soon of it. and starting a baby gift basket for my cousins new miracle!!
Ok I have never made my own pattern... so when I found a pattern that I loved(the inebriated bunny hat from monstercrochet.blogspot.com) but alas it was written for an adult only and it didn't cover the ears... which for some reason I like hats that cover ears... ok soooooooooooo I tried and tested and this is what I've come up with this is my "floppy bunny hat" but I give Super Super credit for this to monster crochet... Love it! Will be posting pics soon. But here is my pattern I don't care if you make or sell anything from this pattern but please please link back to me and Monster Crochet.
Notes: This hat was done using Red Heart Ombre WW yarn, a half double crochet stitch and a K hook. The terms I hope I got right but if it says hdc 1, 2hdc this means one half double crochet in next st, then hdc twice(or however many it says) in the next st. And *-* means repeat it however many times it says to. If you have and ?s just ask :) this pattern made a 6-9 mth hat(it is snug).
1. Ch2, 8sc in the 2nd ch from hook(8) slst to join.
2. Ch2, Hdc in same st, 2hdc around(16) slst to join.
3. Ch2, 2hdc in next st, *hdc 1, 2hdc* around(24) slst to join.
4. Ch2, hdc, 2hdc, *hdc 2, 2hdc* around(32) slst to join.
5. (Ear openings) Ch2, hdc 6, ch4-skip 4 st, hdc 12, ch4-skip4, hdc 6(32) slst to join.
6. Ch2, *hdc 3, 2hdc) 8 xs(40) slst to join.
7-8. Ch2, hdc around(40) slst to join.
9. Ch2, *hdc 9, 2hdc) 4xs(44) slst to join.
10-20. Ch2, hdc around(44) slst to join. FO after 20th.
